United Islands 2017: A New Philosophy of Life on Water by Svetozar Andreev
The United Islands project (2016–2017, Svetozar Andreev / Hotei-Russia) is the world's first large-scale overwater complex in the modernist style. It shattered the stereotypes of ethnic stilt bungalows with thatched roofs, offering a cohesive high-tech structure of luxury villas with private pools, personal yacht moorings, and panoramic glazing, organically integrated into the marine horizon.
Published in Architect Magazine (official publication of the American Institute of Architects — AIA), Amazing Architecture, Archello, Dwell, Architizer, and others. It became a benchmark for coastal developers and a prototype for many modern complexes, including Patina Maldives (2021).
With this project, Andreev set a new direction for luxury hospitality and real estate for decades to come.

Проект United Islands (2016–2017, Светозар Андреев / Hotei-Russia) — первый в мире масштабный надводный комплекс в стиле модернизма. Он разрушил стереотипы этнических бунгало на сваях, предложив цельную высокотехнологичную структуру роскошных вилл с бассейнами, персональными яхт-причалами и панорамным остеклением, органично вписанную в морской горизонт.
Опубликован в Architect Magazine (официальное издание Американского института архитекторов — AIA), Amazing Architecture, Archello, Dwell, Architizer и др. Стал эталоном для прибрежных девелоперов и прообразом многих комплексов, включая Patina Maldives (2021).
Этим проектом Андреев задал новое направление люксовому гостеприимству и недвижимости на десятилетия вперёд.
